ECH-Incubation Centre, University of Rajasthan Organized Solvathon-2025 Seminar in Collaboration with Apollo Hospitals and FITT, IIT Delhi
The ECH-Incubation Centre, in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals and FITT, IIT Delhi, successfully hosted a transformative seminar, Solvathon-2025, on December 20, 2024, at the Centre. The seminar provided a unique platform for grassroots innovators, early-stage startups, and engineering students to explore and develop tech-driven solutions, particularly in the MedTech sector. The event aimed at fostering innovation, inspiring entrepreneurs, and empowering participants to grow within the rapidly evolving MedTech industry.
The seminar included an Awareness Session on Funding and Entrepreneurship in MedTech Research, which informed and engaged faculty, startups, and students from the Biotech and Engineering domains. This session focused on key aspects of entrepreneurship, funding strategies, and the opportunities available for startups within the MedTech sector.
The event began with a welcome address by Prof. Sumita Kachhwaha, who greeted the guests and introduced the Centre's initiatives. Following this, Dr. Abhimanyu Sharma presented an overview of the Centre's special features, highlighting its role in fostering innovation and supporting startups. The guests were then taken on a guided tour of the Centre’s state-of-the-art laboratories by Dr. Sunil Chhimpa.
Dr. Vipin Yadav also shared insights into the incubated startups and their innovative ideas, while Ms. Jasmine Sethi elaborated on the various financial schemes and support provided by the Centre to help startups succeed. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Sumita Kachhwaha.
Among the distinguished guests attending the event were Dr. Prachi Bangde and Ms. Muskaan Mahla from FITT, IIT Delhi, who provided valuable insights into the collaboration and opportunities within the startup ecosystem.
