Awareness Programme on Intellectual Property Rights organized during Shri Nav Yuvak Mahotsav 2024

Prof. Sumita Kachhwaha, Coordinator, ECH- Incubation Centre was invited to deliver lecture during Awareness Programme on Intellectual Property Rights organized during Shri Nav Yuvak Mahotsav 2024, on June 15, 2024. The session was attended by more than 15 graduate and post-graduate students.

 

Prof. Kachhwaha familiarised the students to the importance of innovation and research in the development of an idea into product. Various entrepreneurial schemes like ATM, SPICE, UnITE along with facility developed by ECH to support the start-ups/ entrepreneurs and competitions organized for the student entrepreneurs were also highlighted during the session. She also talked about the importance of intellectual property and how it can be protected through filing of patents, copyrights, trademarks.
