Shakti Vandan 2024

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Nagar Nigam- Jaipur Greater organized Shakti Vandan on March 2-4, 2024 in Shilpgram, Jawahar Kala Kendra, JLN Marg, Jaipur where ECH- Incubation Centre, University of Rajasthan was integrated as Knowledge Partner. Other partners of the event included Manglam Plus Medicity and Auma Foundation. Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Rajasthan inaugurated the event and performed lamp lightening ceremony on March 2, 2024 at Shilpgram Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. 200 women entrepreneurs got the opportunity to participate in Shakti Vandan 2024 and displayed their products and services.

 

A specific segment named Meri Kahani Meri Zubani- a talk show was organized where Dr. Maya Tandon, Former HOD Anesthesia, SMS Hospital, Padma Shri Awardee 2024, Ms. Manya Singh, Femina Miss India, Gulabo Sapera Ji, Padma Shri Awardee 2016 shared the stories of their journey and inspired the youth to dream big and work towards their dreams. Dr. Maya Tandon shared about her journey which began from conducting session on emergency response for police at the Rajasthan Police Academy in 1994. She also provided a training session on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to reduce deaths occurring due to heart strokes for the young participants of the event. Ms. Manya Singh shared about her journey from an ordinary college student to Femina Miss India and highlighted dedication, consistency, optimism as the key factors contributing to success of an individual.

 

A Panel Discussion session named Gyan Satra was organized where Prof. Sumita Kachhwaha, Coordinator, ECH- Incubation Centre, Ms. Preeti Dagga, Adv. Monika Arora, Ms. Subuhi Akhtar were invited as Panelists and the session was moderated by Ms. Sunita Sharma, Founder, Auma Foundation. Ms. Jayashree Periwal, Director, Jayashree Periwal International School, Dr. Manju Sharma, EHCC and many other eminent women entrepreneurs of Rajasthan talked about their journey of entrepreneurship and motivated the students, young innovators, entrepreneurs.
