Hands on Training workshop

On the occasion of National Science Day, ECH- Incubation Center, University of Rajasthan organized an Equipment training Programme on February 28, 2024 in ECH- Incubation Center, University of Rajasthan for the research scholars and post graduate students from various academic institutions such as University of Rajasthan, Kanoria PG College, IIS University, Pareek College, LBS College, Jaipur National University. The session was attended by selected 46 candidates who were introduced to the basics and applications of Fourier Transformed Infra- Red Spectroscopy, Nano-particle analyser and UV-Vis Spectroscopy installed in ECH- Incubation Center.

 

The session began with the welcome address by Prof. Sumita Kachhwaha, Coordinator, ECH- Incubation Centre where she briefly acquainted the audience with the facilities and functionalities of ECH- Incubation Centre, University of Rajasthan. Dr. Sunil Chhimpa, PDF Entrepreneur quickly briefed the audience about the event.

 

During the Technical Session- I, Dr. Abhimanyu Sharma, PDF Entrepreneur talked over the vivid applications of FTIR in research. He also discussed on the basic functions of FTIR followed by which a hands-on drive was conducted in which the students as well as the research scholars got a chance to learn the equipment in detail.

 

Technical Session-II was taken forward by Dr. Sunil Chhimpa, PDF Entrepreneur where he shared about the basic principle of nano-particle analyser. Afterwards a hands-on session was conducted where the participants got the opportunity to analyse the sample and learn about the equipment in detail.

 

Dr. Vipin Yadav, PDF Entrepreneur conducted Technical Session-III where he acquainted the participants with the basic principle of UV-Vis Spectroscopy and followed by which a hands-on training was conducted.

 

The equipment training programme ended with high tea and certificate distribution to the participants.
