A knowledge-cum-interactive session on Proposal writing for Translational Research and Entrepreneurship with Dr. Saket Chhatopadhyay, Senior Manager and Mr. Shekhar Dhuliya, Innovation Fellow, FITT- IIT Delhi was organized by ECH- Incubation Centre, University of Rajasthan in collaboration with Foundation for Innovation And Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi on January 18, 2024 under the directions of Prof. Sumita Kachhwaha, Coordinator, ECH- Incubation Centre, University of Rajasthan. During the session, Dr. Saket shared about the current developments and innovations pertaining to biotechnology and highlighted Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, 3-D Bioprinting, biosensors, gene editing, precision medicine, synthetic biology, microfluidics, tissue engineering as the emerging interests of entrepreneurs. He also shared that FIIT is partnered with BIRAC to promote such innovations. Prof. Sumita Kachhwaha also enlightened the participants with the process of incubation in ECH and the possibilities of co-incubation by which the start-ups incubated in ECH can connect with FITT- IIT Delhi.
This interaction with the BIRAC professionals was witnessed by more than 50 students, faculty, entrepreneurs, start-up founders from various disciplines of University of Rajasthan. Dr. Abhimanyu Sharma, Dr. Sunil Chhimpa, Dr. Vipin Yadav, Ms. Jasmine Sethi, Mr. Deepak Kumar Sharma and Mr. Rakesh Chandra Kumawat played an important role in this session.
