Institutional Visit of Students and Faculty of Jaipur National University, Jaipur

ECH- Incubation Centre, University of Rajasthan organized an Institutional Visit for the students and faculty of B.Tech & M.Tech Biotechnology, Jaipur National University, Jaipur on August 11, 2023, 11:00 AM onwards. The visit was hosted by Prof. P.J. John which included an interactive session followed by the visit to the Centre which was witnessed by around 50 students and 02 faculty members.

At the outset of the session, Prof. P.J. John, Coordinator, ECH, familiarised the students to the entrepreneurial schemes developed by ECH such as ATM, SPICE, UnITE along other facilities such as laboratory setup, mentorship and networking facility to support the start-ups/ entrepreneurs and competitions organized for the student entrepreneurs were also highlighted during the session.

 

Dr. Sunil Chhimpa, PDF Entrepreneur introduced the students to the concept of innovation and entrepreneurship, market viability assessment of the idea, etc. Dr. Vipin Yadav discoursed on the start-ups originated from Rajasthan, with special emphasis on Jaipur. Ms. Jasmine Sethi acquainted the students with the various funding schemes developed by incubation centres and government agencies to support startups in India.

A visit to the facilities of ECH was also organized by Dr. Sunil Chhimpa, Dr. Vipin Yadav, PDF Entrepreneur, ECH- Incubation Centre and Ms. Jasmine Sethi, Post Master Entrepreneur, ECH- Incubation Centre in which the students were acquainted to the various equipment procured by Centre along with the co-working space developed to support the start-ups.
