Interactive session on Problem Solving Technology for Entrepreneurs with Jaipur National University, Siilas Campus

Entrepreneurship & Career Hub, University of Rajasthan organized an interactive session on the topic “Problem Solving Technology for Entrepreneur” with the students and faculty of School of Life and Basic Sciences, Jaipur National University on August 16, 2021 through online mode from 2:30 PM- 04:00 PM to motivate and ignite the spark of entrepreneurship in the aspiring entrepreneurs. The session witnessed participation of more than 90 students and faculty from Jaipur National University, Siilas.
The session commenced with the welcome of the dignitaries and the audience by Ms. Ritika Sharma, Assistant Professor, School of Life and Basic Sciences, Jaipur National University. Prof. D.S. Bhatia, Director, Jaipur National University, Siilas addressed the audience with his views on entrepreneurship as a career option. He also discoursed on the innovations and start-ups taking over the market in the current pandemic. Dr. VidyaPatni, Coordinator, ECH gave a floral welcome to Prof. D.S. Bhatia and she also motivated the students to choose entrepreneurship as a career option.
The session was further taken forward by Dr. Abhimanyu Sharma, PDF Entrepreneur, ECH where he acquainted the audience with the functionalities of ECH such as expert mentorship, sophisticated instrumentation, networking facility, co-working space, etc. which would help in strengthening the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Rajasthan. Dr. JMS Murthy, Manager, ECH took the session ahead by introducing his journey of entrepreneurship from the first stage of ideation to the final stage of introduction of product to the market. He also told about the schemes supporting student entrepreneurs and start-ups and competitions organized by ECH. He also discussed the start-ups already incubated in ECH.
During the QnA session the students were keen to know about the characteristics of an Entrepreneur and the failures they face during their journey. Dr. JMS Murthy addressed their queries by correlating his journey of entrepreneurship and told that failure is the source of motivation for an entrepreneur.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by DrPallavi Singh, Assistant Professor, Allied Health Sciences.
