Webinar on How to Become an Entrepreneur with Agrawal PG College

Entrepreneurship & Career Hub, University of Rajasthan has organized a webinar on the topicHow to become an Entrepreneur? on July 12, 2021, 11:30 AM onwards for the students of Agrawal PG College through zoom. The session witnessed a participation of more than 70 student entrepreneurs where Dr. JMS Murthy, Manager acquainted the audience to his journey of entrepreneurship to the students.

 The session commenced with the welcome and introduction to Entrepreneurship & Career Hub by Dr. Anil Kumar Bansal, HOD, Dept. of Chemistry, Agrawal PG College. Dr. JMS Murthy acquainted the audience to the steps of idea stage, proof of concept stage to the final stage of product development and marketing while relating his journey of entrepreneurship. He highlighted the importance of innovation and research in polishing the idea for development of a product/ service. He told the students about the benefits of entrepreneurship over private and govt. jobs. Dr. JMS Murthy familiarized the audience to the multidisciplinary functionalities of ECH, its schemes supporting student entrepreneurs and start-ups and other services such as mentorship, laboratory facilities, IPR consultancy, networking and business support facilities, etc. The start-ups incubated at ECH were also shared through various examples.

The QnA session was very interactive where the students and faculty enquired about entrepreneurship and business planning. Dr. JMS Murthy resolved various queries and recommended the students to visit ECH following best COVID safe protocols.

The session ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Pradhyuman Singh Rathor, Vice Principal, Agrawal  PG College.
