COVID driven start-ups for solving oxygen problems in patients

A webinar entitled ‘COVID driven start-ups for solving oxygen problems in patients’ was organized by the Entrepreneurship & Career Hub, University of Rajasthan on June 29, 2021.  The session saw Dr. Anand Krishnan, COO, JLSR Wellness Pvt. Ltd. shared his experience and knowledge with the participants about oxygen supply problem during COVID-19 pandemic.

He has an intense experience in the field of biomedical science and clinical research pioneering Global Clinical Research in the United Kingdom for the development of Clinical Drugs, Medical devices & Product development. As a serial entrepreneur and visionary, Mr. Anand led his energy and inspiration to lead the team to successfully create a unique product like Urb.Ox Smart Sensible Oxygen Generator, an innovative & futuristic product with a Make in India vision

The evening started with the inaugural address by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rajeev Jain where  he emphasized on the importance of innovation and novel research which has contributed  in  improving the public health, the event proceeded further with the address of Dr. VidyaPatni, Coordinator, ECH welcomed the guest, Dr. Anand Krishnan, COO, JLSR Wellness Pvt. Ltd.

Dr. Krishnan started with a brief introduction about the COVID-19 infection, role of oxygen supply    in patients, strategy of production of oxygen in India, need of oxygen after COVID-19 situation and adverse effect due to lack of oxygen in treatment. He also elaborated the problem related to oxygen construction and plants production.

Further Dr. JMS Murthy, Manager ECH modulated the question and answer session, where Dr. Krishnan answered many queries regarding oxygen production capacity and problems. ECH team members collectively facilitated the interaction between students, faculty and startups with Dr. Krishnan. The webinar was concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr.  VipinYadav,  PDF Entrepreneur, ECH by motivating entrepreneurs to adapt to the entrepreneurship career.
