Interactive Session in collaboration with Poddar International College, Mansarovar

Entrepreneurship & Career Hub, University of Rajasthan organized an Interactive Session in collaboration with Poddar International College, Mansarovar on June 21, 2021 through zoom. The topic of the interactive session was Entrepreneurship as an Alternative Career, which was attended by 70selected student entrepreneurs.

The meeting commenced with a brief introduction by Dr. Utkarsh, Poddar International College about Entrepreneurship & Career Hub, University of Rajasthan. Dr. VidyaPatni addressed the audience and appreciated the efforts of promoting entrepreneurship among the youth.

During the session, Dr. JMS Murthy, Manager, ECH, acquainted the students to the journey of entrepreneurship, development of an idea, and proof of concept stage to the final stage of product launching in the market. He also discussed about the importance of innovation and research in the development of an idea into product. Various entrepreneurial schemes like ATM, SPICE, UnITE introduced by ECH to support the start-ups/ entrepreneurs and competitions organized for the student entrepreneurs were also highlighted during the session.

Dr. VipinYadav, PDF Entrepreneur, ECH, spoke about the multi-disciplinary start-ups incubated at ECH by quoting the example of Farm Trip Pvt. Ltd., a start-up supported by ECH. The audience was also familiarized with the facilities available at ECH like the sophisticated instrumentation facility, expert mentorship, co-working space, etc.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Utkarsh, Poddar International College  and  forethought of organizing an interaction with the targeted student entrepreneurs from Poddar International College.
