Interactive session with Start-up Oasis Jaipur

Entrepreneurship & Career Hub, University of Rajasthan organized an interactive session with Start- up Oasis Jaipur on June 02, 2021, 04:00 PM onwards through Zoom. The agenda of the interaction was to introduce the members of Start-up Oasis with the Entrepreneurship & Career Hub and to discuss the possibilities of collaboration for entrepreneurial activities in future.
Dr. VidyaPatni, Coordinator, ECH welcomed the members of the working committee and team of ECH and Start-up Oasis and apprised them about ECH. Dr. JoishMadhusudhana Murthy, Manager, ECH introduced the strengths of ECH, the infrastructure, sophisticated instrumentation, mentorship facility, co-working space, business support services and student volunteers. He also discussed about the schemes ATM, SPICE, UnITE offered to the student entrepreneurs for the development of idea.
Mr. Abhishek and Mr. Aditya from Start-up Oasis briefed about the schemes of their organization namely Ministry of Electronics and IT support for commercialization of a start-up providing a funding of Rs. 4-7 Lacs depending upon the requirements of start-up. The second scheme for commercialization included NASCOM/GIG. For student engagement in the field of entrepreneurship, Start-up Oasis has launched two programmes, namely, Business Plan Competition- providing a grant of Rs. 75,000/-, funding 7-8 entrepreneurs each year from Rajasthan. Start-up School- NIDHIAIR, booster and pitches for student entrepreneurs. The team also introduced ECH to the student awareness programmes conducted in various schools and colleges through webinars, seminars and conferences.
Dr. BhavyaSoni, Working Committee Member highlighted the start-ups incubated at ECH and also discussed about new venture creation. Possibilities of future collaboration with Start-up Oasis including collaborative organization of entrepreneurial events, inclusion of start-ups incubated at ECH in the pitching programmes organized by Start-up Oasis, knowledge sharing from both sides. The members of Start-up Oasis also shared the possible future collaboration activities and asked for some time to discuss with the higher authorities.
